BANKS / POST OFFICES

In Greece there are a lot of private and public banks that serve customers. Banks are open from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 2 pm. There are also cash points (ATMs) that work 24 hours a day all over the country. The National Bank of Greece is the oldest and largest bank in the country (www.ethniki.gr).

         Greek post offices (www.elta-net.gr) have branches in every city and village. The central post office in Thessaloniki is on 6, Ethnikis Amynis Street and its telephone number is 2310 227688. It is open every day from 7:30 am to 8 pm, on Saturdays from 8 am to 2 pm. It is closed on Sundays.
