Dear partners, friends and e-visitors,

I welcome you all to this new issue of the HelloNet Newsletter which is available on line today.

This issue is devoted to our partner meeting in our city. We were all looking forward to it as we had not met for quite some time and were very anxious about it. Our meeting took place from 25 to 29 September and Jose Antonio from Lisbon, Ana from Valencia, Laurence from Liege and Vladan from Bordeaux came all the way from their countries to attend it. This meeting is considered our last one as our project has now come to its end.

I believe we had an interesting schedule which also gave us the chance for some cultural visits. We had our meetings in our school’s premises, about 15 klm from the city centre and the Sunday was devoted to a  visit of the royal tombs in Vergina, a very important archaeological site about 80 km away. Vergina, the birthplace of Alexander the Great hosts the tombs of his father King Philip of Macedonia. The journey was courtesy of our institution and we thank them very much for it. This outing gave us the opportunity to get to know us better, see the Greek countryside and also visit some very interesting places.

The weather was lovely as it usually is on a September. There was much sunshine as well as some rain on Sunday. On one evening we had the chance to stroll through crowded streets, taste some local dishes and wines outdoors across the White Tower and watch the greek enjoying the nice weather.

This last meeting was successful, I believe. We worked on last minute corrections, we settled issues, discussed future plans, we relaxed and we said goodbye with promises for new cooperation in the future and the wish to meet again.

This newsletter also includes Laurence’s words as expressed by her.

I thank them all for their participation in this meeting.

Regards to you all from Greece,
